Anti-clock(wise)

Well it certainly has been quite a ride thus far. Life never really takes us where we want to go…. But that’s just the thing. Life is not supposed to take us anywhere, we are here to make our lives and create the world we live in, the future that we want to have, and the person that we want ourselves to be. The only thing that is getting in our way is ourselves.

Hi 🙂 I’m Graeme (Mr Gray), and this is the story about how…

Navigating through this existence doesn’t come with a personalised handbook (although sometimes we wish it did). But not to fear, Mr Gray is here to help you navigate through the black and white of your life, and guide you through the integration of what you know, and what you don’t know yet.

I know that no matter what you believe, you are already whole and complete, and really lack for nothing when it comes to being “good enough” for anything. And that includes being yourself. Truth be told, you are only accountable to yourself and the person that looks back at you in the mirror, and unless you are telling yourself that you are not enough, you are absolutely enough. End of story 🙂

Having been the person that stares back blankly at himself in the mirror, I understand how empty, vacant and wondering life can leave you.

Over my life I have travelled a road that few men have traversed; sitting through multiple silent meditation retreats totalling months when combined, dived head first into the art and science of consciousness through the Hindu philosophies and viewpoints offered by Vedanta and the Bhagavad Gita, learned about the functioning of the mind through personal metaphysical studies, psychology, intuition, meditation and professional coaching – both received and studied, not to mention the enlightenment that comes through the natural wonders of Psychedelics and the profound insights and healing that they bring to this buffet of life and life experience.

Martial arts have been and continue to be a feature throughout this life road I have travelled, from karate at the tender age of 9, to kickboxing and onto the current phase of Muay Thai. This art of discipline and structure, not to mention self-control, has been a rock to lean on through the tougher times and the more rigid experiences of this life.

An alternate view of the world has blessed me to look out for and travel the roads ventured down less often, and have provided me many vast and varied insights into life and the way that it is lived. From consumerism at the mainstream level, to farm-to-plate living and eating food literally straight out of the ground, Permaculture has had a great and beneficial influence on my life and is a goal that still colours my world green.

I have had the privilege of teaching and facilitating energy healing classes regarding the chakras of the body, and have gained a great insight and experience into the functioning of these energy centres, as well as how they correlate to the physical lives that we lead. The healthy maintenance and functioning of these particular energy centres is vital to us using all our faculties in this life to the best of our knowledge and abilities, and will help you to gain a better understanding into who you are, what you want, where your strengths lie, and how to make best use of them.

I believe that it is of paramount importance that we learn to listen to ourselves – you are the most important person that exists for you, and not paying attention to yourself is going to take you down a few paths that are not for you – that you may have to learn the hard way if you are not listening. But then again, any path that you venture down is the path for you. No matter how unpleasant it may be. It’s all about your learning and your growth.

Having dealt with people from all walks of life and at all stages thereof, Mr Gray has had the honour and the privilege of engaging with paupers living off the streets and the generosity of others, to those occupying elite levels in society, all the while remaining true to himself, even if that didn’t quite fit the bill at the time. How Mr Gray fits into where he is at the moment is not for him to decide, being true to himself is what he brings to the table regardless of what others think about that. Being true to me and who I am has always taken top priority, and I am not here to impress anyone. I am here to be Graeme. That is all.

“ I just love people. Their unique roads that they have travelled and the adventures they have taken, not to mention the lessons that they carry and have yet to discover. People are what makes this life interesting – everything comes from people, for people – not ignoring nature, but referring to us as the social and communal species that we are. “ – Mr Gray

I have always had an interest in what people are doing with their lives, not for the sake of being nosy, rather, to try and figure out how people are living their lives. Trying to figure out what the hell I should do with my life – where I “fell short” or discover what they did that I didn’t – the endless search for the factor creating the divide between where I am and where they are. The comparison of “life vs life” has been an endless struggle that I have finally been able to put to rest.

On this path of the journey Mr Gray is still heavily and continually involved in the learning process, increasing and sharpening his skills and skill sets. There is no halting the learning as he travels this exciting and unpredictable life with all the virtues that it has to offer along the way.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know Mr Gray a little better. I look forward to enjoying our time together 🙂

Much Love and Metta

G 🙂
